Classic Wins at Middleburg Classic

Champions Chloe Welsh and Blue Label

The Skyland Farm team celebrated a spectacular Middleburg Classic with many tricolors, grand championships and top ribbons throughout the week, September 20-24 in Upperville, Virginia.

Highlights included Chloe Welsh and Blue Label securing the Local Large Pony and Children’s Large Pony Hunter championships by winning five out of the six classes.

Eleanor Green and Jus D’O

Eleanor Green and Jus D’O secured the Children’s Hunter championship, Grand Children’s Hunter Championship as well as winning the $1,000 NAL/WIHS Children’s Hunter Classic for a fantastic sweep.

Eddyn Molden and Denice Perry’s Ollivander secured the Local Small/Medium Pony Reserve Championship with top ribbons in every class.

In addition, Minnie Burke and Voila went home with top ribbons including a win under saddle in the Children’s Hunters, and Skyland Assistant Trainer Chiara Parlagreco and Katie Canario’s Kiltubrid Rhapsody made quite a comeback debut with sixth place in the Middleburg Classic Hunter Derby out of 42 competitors.
