Chiara Parlagreco joined the Skyland Farm team as assistant trainer beginning in 2016 after a highly successful junior and amateur career in the Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation.

Throughout her career, Chiara has competed at the country’s best horse shows, including the Pennsylvania National, Washington International (D.C.) and the Devon Horse Show in Pennsylvania. She’s won numerous state and Zone championships in the Junior and Amateur Hunters, as well as the Wayne Carroll Sportsmanship Award at the National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden in 1997.

A highlight of her career was riding Ainsley Treptow’s The Impressionist to victory in the $250,000 HITS Hunter Prix (New York) in 2012, taking home the richest purse in the country for Junior and Amateur hunter riders!
