Skyland Farm, a full-service hunter/jumper training and sales facility in the heart of Middleburg, Virginia's Hunt Country, is owned and operated by Denice DeRisio Perry. She’s a seasoned professional who has been in the horse show business her entire life and has trained National, Zone and State Champions in the Ponies, Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation for more than 40 years.

Denice's professional background includes riding and training champions at the National Horse Show (New York), Pennsylvania National, Washington International (D.C.) and the Devon Horse Show in Pennsylvania. Denice is a United States Equestrian Federation R-rated judge in Hunters and Hunter Seat Equitation, and she's judged some of the most prestigious competitions in the country, including the USEF Pony Finals, Lake Placid (New York) and the WCHR Hunter Classic Spectacular in Palm Beach (Florida). She's currently a member of the United States Hunter Jumper Association Pony Hunter Task Force.

Denice enjoys teaching all ages and specializes in matching appropriate horses with riders. In addition, she’s a USHJA Certified Trainer and USHJA Zone 3 Committee member.

Skyland Farm offers a variety of sales and lease opportunities and customized programs for horses and riders who aspire to train and compete in the Hunter, Jumper and Equitation rings.
