Many Victories at Maryland Horse & Pony Show

Meghan Finlay and Chabalouba Sun

Congratulations to the Skyland Farm team for a great show at the Maryland Horse & Pony Show!

Highlights included Chabalouba Sun and Meghan Finlay capturing the reserve championship in the 3’3” Older Junior Hunter section with two blue ribbons over fences. "Meghan also won the MHSA Medal with an excellent ride. She was awesome," said trainer Denice Perry. "Out of their five jumping rounds, the pair scored in the 80s and some 85 and 86 scores."

Additionally, Denice Perry showed Chabalouba Sun in the 3’3” Performance Hunters, earning good ribbons in all the classes in a very competitive division.

Meghan also rode four double-clear rounds in the jumpers aboard Sofia Car, including third in the 1.10m Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic, never a rail during the show and ribbons in all classes.

Mosie Pennington jumped to a win and top ribbons in the highly competitive Small Pony Hunter section on Judith Hahn's Twizzler. She also had super ribbons on her Dreamscape in every class. Mosie was also sixth and 10th in the Pony Hunter Classic out of all sections of ponies. "It was a competitive show with numerous entries in all divisions," said Denice. "I was really proud of her!"

Denice also showed Skyland Farm's homebred Superman in the 6 and under and USHJA Hunters with ribbons in most classes.

Congratulations to all!
