Ribbons in Raleigh
The Skyland Farm team spent two fun weeks in Raleigh, North Carolina, attending the Jump For The Children and RMI Raleigh Benefit horse shows in November at the James B. Hunt Horse Complex.There were many highlights, including first and last ribbons, new partnerships and breakthrough moments as the 2015 show season comes to a conclusion.The beautiful gray Corrado partnered with Leslie Kopp and Chiara Carney for excellent ribbons in the Adult Amateur, 36-49, section and the 3'6" Performance Hunters both weeks.Emma Pell and Glynmagic Cover Girl won their final class together at RMI in the Medium Pony Hunter section. "Coa Coa headed back to her owner, Schyler Gobin, before finding a new child to continue her winning ways with," said trainer Denice Perry. "We will all miss her. She's a great pony!"Many blue ribbons adorned the Skyland Farm banner during the two weeks, with contributions from Crescendo and Elizabeth Wiley, The Impressionist and Leslie and Forget Me Not with Emma.A special shout-out to Alex Tippett, who won with her new mount Amelie during their first show together. Congratulations are also in order for Leslie and her newest partner News Flash, who garnered good ribbons in the Adult Amateur section during their debut show.
The Skyland Farm team looks forward to a great show season in 2016, which officially begins in a few short weeks on December 1.
