A Grand Time at Warrenton

"Elizabeth had a fantastic show, and I'm so proud of her as a horseman," said trainer Denice Perry. "I'm so happy she was recognized for her riding skills as well as the care of her horses. She keeps her horses at home and does the work herself, which is not as common as it used to be. But by knowing her horses well in the ring and on the ground, she's created a special connection with them that shows up in competition. I'm also thrilled that she received these grand championships at Warrenton, which is a fitting tribute to a family that's been committed to this show for decades."At the end of the show, which concluded on August 31, Elizabeth received the Warrenton Horse Show's overall Grand Championship for her many blue ribbons aboard Say Again, and the Reserve Grand Championship with Crescendo.Skyland Farm rider Colleen Hahn also enjoyed a great weekend, as she placed second aboard her HJ Vasco in the Children's/Adult Jumper event at Twilight Jumpers in The Plains, Virginia on Friday night. Congratulations to everyone for a banner Labor Day Weekend in the show ring!
