Fantastic Finishes at WEF 2024

Kiltubrid Rhapsody and Michele Trufant with trainer Denice Perry

The Skyland Farm team concluded their season on the Winter Equestrian Festival circuit in Wellington, Florida, with accolades, accomplishments and an accumulation of new skills and goals met.

Biaggi and Michele Trufant had a spectacular season together competing in the Masters Jumpers and the NAL/WIHS and Masters Jumper Classics. The duo had many clear, blue-ribbon rounds and had the opportunity to show their talents in the prestigious International Ring over some tough courses.

Michele also purchased the eventing superstar-turned equitation horse and show hunter Kiltubrid Rhapsody and took on the Adult Equitation and Medal classes with immediate success. We wish them the best of luck as they continue to forge their partnership and grow together in the equitation ring.

Trainer Denice Perry’s Ollivander and Emi Richards continued to improve over the course of the circuit, with top ribbons and tricolors resulting. The pair added one final tricolor to their collection with the Medium Green Pony Hunter reserve championship during WEF 12.

Blue Label and Chloe Welsh

Chloe Welsh and Blue Label enjoyed top ribbons during their time at WEF in the Children’s Large Pony Hunters, including blues over fences and under saddle.

Ava Papez and Hamilton competed in the Low Children’s Hunters with impressive placings throughout the circuit, while Ava also piloted Checkmate successfully in the 11 and under Equitation.

Eleanor Green and Jus D’O spent time at WEF during the holiday season and picked up impressive ribbons in the 3’3’ Medals and in the USHJA National Hunter Derby during the Holiday Finale.

It was a great season! Special thanks to all of those behind the scenes—we couldn’t do this without you!
