Skyland is On Fire this Fall

The Skyland team at the Piedmont Jumper Classic

Cirena and Mosie Pennington, Michele Trufant and itchy Garrett, Natalie Wasson and Sofia Car, Brooke Ballhaus and CK Sport Horses Lennox, and Joe and Dorothy Stroh had numerous ribbons and strong Sunday Classic awards at the beautiful Piedmont Jumper Classic in Upperville, Virginia.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Natalie Wasson and Vigo De Cento competed in the age group equitation at the Capital Challenge Horse Show in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with some top scores with the best rider's in the country.

"Natalie competed on her 7-year-old, who was amazing for his age," said trainer Denice Perry. "They have a bright future!"

Chloe Welsh and High Hopes Sable

In addition, Chloe Welsh, daughter of Skyland competitor Lindsay Welsh, started her show ring career with a clean sweep of the Short Stirrup Equitation at the Clarke County Fairgrounds on High Hopes Sable with our long-time friend and trainer Carol Eichner.

"Go Chloe! Your future is looking pretty good!" said Denice.
