Meet Clarke Kent

Skyland Farm is thrilled to announce the arrival of C’superman, also known as Clarke Kent!

The bay colt was born at 12:01 a.m. on April 19 and welcomed into the world by Denice and Roy Perry, as well as a variety of Skyland Farm clients and friends who watched at the barn and around the world via the “foal cam.”

Clarke is by Copperman and out of Cirena and was carried to term by the Thoroughbred mare KC.

His birth was overseen and assisted by veterinarian Howland Mansfield of Middleburg Equine Clinic. Special kudos also go to Roy, who helped this long-legged colt get his legs underneath him and stand and nurse for the first time!

At 3 days of age, Clarke is already showing off his beauty and athleticism.

Big Man

Ironman

There’s a new face in the Skyland Farm barn aisle these days! Ironman is finally tall enough to see out of the stall he shares with his dam, Cirena.

Ironman’s Siesta

Denice and Roy Perry join their colt Ironman in an afternoon siesta!

Welcome Ironman

Ironman

Denice and Roy Perry welcomed the bay Holsteiner colt Ironman to their stable on May 1. Ironman is by the Holsteiner stallion Copperman (Contender—Chanell) and out of the Holsteiner mare Cirena (Chamonix—Hella VII).

Denice and Roy own the sire and the dam, who both compete in the jumper sections with Denice. Copperman had successful outings in the 1.40m jumper sections this winter on the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival circuit in Florida, and Denice looks forward to their grand prix début later this spring.
