Skyland Farm congratulates Chiara Parlagreco and Alex Tippett for their stellar performances at the Washington International Horse Show, held October 23-28 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Alex started out the Skyland success on Wednesday afternoon, October 24, when she jumped to eighth place in the $10,000 WIHS Children’s Jumper Championship aboard Ainsley Treptow’s El Cano in a competitive class of 32 riders from all over the country.

Chiara followed suit that night, with an impressive fourth-placed performance in a class of 27 during the $10,000 WIHS Adult Amateur Jumper Championship, riding Belle Grey Farm LLC’s Chacca Blue.

Great job to all!

Great Meadow Win

Chiara Parlagreco and Chacca Blue earn blue during the Great Meadow Twilight Jumper Event.

Chiara Parlagreco and Belle Grey Farm LLC’s Chacca Blue stole the show on Friday night, August 31, during the Twilight Jumper Competition at Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia. Their clean and fast jump-off performance couldn’t be matched, and they earned the lion’s share of the $500 purse in the Children’s/Adult Jumper classic.

This was the pair’s second major victory of the week, as they also topped the $1,500 NAL/WIHS/M&S/ Children’s Adult Jumper Classic at the Swan Lake Finale in Littlestown, Pennsylvania on August 26. Way to go!
